Do you have a clock that is in need of repair?
Clock repair may seem like a trade of long ago, as traditional analog clocks are slowly forgotten in our fast paced society of digital technology. Grandma's old school house regulator is in a box in the attic, and the clock Dad got when he retired is in the bottom of the closet. Sound familiar? We hear stories like this often. Do you have a clock that is in need of repair? The House of Clocks is capable of repairing and restoring a large selection of antique and modern clocks. If you have a grandfather or floor clock, don't bother bringing it in, we will come to you and service your larger clocks right where they are. Feel free to bring in your smaller clocks during any of our business hours. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us, we will be glad to help you in any way we can.

Broken Glass
This beautiful, old, Seth Thomas Ogee clock was brought to us for restoration on both the movement and the wooden case. When it was all finished, the owners shipped it out west to their son, but it didn't make it there in one piece. The case was damaged and the original reverse painting of the parrots was destroyed. The owners brought it back in with as much of the glass fragments as they could find. It was like putting a jig-saw-puzzle together without the picture. After a few days, I was able to slowly determine how all the broken pieces fit together. As you can see, not all of it was found, but there is enough that a replica could be painted and installed. For now, I replaced the glass with a pane that I painted black, while a gilded ornamental window allows the pendulum to be seen.
