Established in 1971, House of Clocks in Morgantown, IN has evolved into one of the finest clock sources in the mid-west and beyond. It is considered a family tradition in that we are now serving the children and grandchildren of our original customers. The shop is renouned for selection, quality and unique variety, with literally hundreds of clocks on display.
Located in a small historic town among other unique and interesting shops, just minutes away from Nashville IN and scenic Brown County, at the junction of SR 135 and SR 252. The setting is perfect for browsing among the beautiful array of time pieces. Enhance your visit with stops at a lovely tea room, antique shops, country restaurants, a yarn shop you won't believe, floral shops-arrangements a decorator would die for and more. Definitely worth your "TIME".
Included in the clock display are wonderful Grandfatherclocks, from Howard Miller, Sligh, and Hentschel. A special collection from Dold, imported directly from the German Black Forest and not shown anywhere else in the USA. These grandfathers boast wonderful inlays set in solid woods of walnut, mahogany, and oak, etched brass weights and pendulums depicting scenes from the Black Forest area. Exquisite carving and burling give these clocks their unsurpassed quality and character.
Further exploration of the shop reveals a nice selection of key wound walls and mantels , quartz walls, and mantels, a huge cuckoo collection in all sizes an price ranges, Dutch pieces from the Netherlands, Three curio cabinets full of anniversary clocks, miniatures, and much more.
